Your OC's job is the profession on their application. Once a day, they can work a shift in their home village for mon, reputation, XP, and items.

Every shift pays

• Mon — into your shared wallet.
• Home-village reputation — for the OC who worked.
• Character XP — toward that OC's level.
• Items — into your shared bag (the same bag shops, battles, and crafting use).

Each shift lands on one focus. The bot builds a pool of the focuses you qualify for today, then picks one at random. Every focus in the pool has the same chance.

   Crafting stays in the pool when your bag holds every ingredient for at least one recipe your job can make. Otherwise it sits out today — see How crafting works.

   Leader, Guardian, and Sentinel always work Culture.

   One focus is picked at random from what's left.

Each focus pays out differently. “Higher” and “lower” compare the focuses to each other.

• Gathering

  Best for: restocking

  Materials and ingredients for crafting and trades, with steady mon and reputation.

• Combat

  Best for: mon & XP

  The most mon and character XP, plus the best odds at rare items. Your OC may come home hurt or with a short status.

• Crafting

  Best for: turning ingredients into gear

  Uses one recipe's ingredients from your bag and gives you the finished item. Lighter on reputation.

• Culture

  Best for: reputation

  The most home-village reputation and solid mon. Items lean social and trade — errands, customers, performances.

Also good to know

• Pay grows with your home village and your OC's level.
• Priest, Healer, Entertainer, Diviner, Scholar, Sea Merchant, Sōhei, and Sake Brewer earn a small reputation bonus on every shift.
• The day's village weather can shift pay and item drops, and harsh weather makes Combat a little rougher.
• Item odds for each job and focus are in the item catalog.
• Character XP from shifts, quests, and wild battle KOs all count toward the same level.

Crafting happens inside /job work, on shifts that roll Crafting. You stock the ingredients; the bot does the making.

   Find what your job can make

   Open the item catalog and filter by your job and the Crafting focus. Each craftable item lists its recipe.

   Stock the ingredients

   Get them from Gathering shifts, shops, wild battles, or trades. Your bag is shared by all your OCs, and /job status shows your materials.

   Work your shift as usual

   A full set of ingredients for any recipe puts Crafting in the day's pool.

   On a Crafting roll, the bot crafts

   It picks one recipe you can fully make, uses up those ingredients, and adds the finished item to your bag.

Good to know

• A recipe counts only when you hold every ingredient in the listed amounts.
• One item per Crafting shift. If you can make several recipes, the bot chooses one — the day's village weather can tilt which.
• Ingredients are used only on a Crafting roll. Gathering, Combat, and Culture days leave them in your bag.

Run every /job command in the Roleplay channel for that OC's home village. Battles (/battle wild, /battle challenge) work in any of the four — see Battling.

Healer (Gale Spring) and Potions Master (Noir Vale) OCs can treat an OC from their own home village with /job heal. It patches up a villager after a rough battle without spending bag items, and it's a natural roleplay moment at the healer's practice.

How to treat a patient

Run /job heal in the healer's home village Roleplay channel (same channel as /job work — see Village work) and fill three fields:

• character — your Healer or Potions Master OC.
• patient — the member whose OC you're treating. Pick yourself to treat one of your other OCs.
• patient_character — their OC, from the list that appears once you choose the member.

What a visit does

• Restores part of the patient's max HP (the healer's tier below sets how much). Fainted OCs get back on their feet.
• Cures the patient's status condition.
• Each OC can be treated once per Eastern calendar day (resets midnight Eastern), by any healer in their village. The member who owns the patient gets a ping with the result.

Who can be treated

• An approved OC whose home village matches the healer's.
• An OC below full HP or carrying a status condition.
• An OC between battles — once a wild battle or member duel ends, they can head to the practice.
• Someone other than the healer themselves; another healer from the village can treat them.

The healer's day

• The first patient of the day counts as that OC's /job work for the day. It pays like a Culture shift — mon, home-village reputation, and character XP — without an item roll.
• Each further patient that day adds home-village reputation, up to the healer's daily limit.
• A healer who ran /job work earlier that day opens the practice again the next day. The healer needs to be on their feet (not fainted) to treat anyone.
• /job status for a Healer or Potions Master shows today's patient count and how much HP they restore.

A healer's home-village reputation sets how many patients they can see each day and how much HP each visit restores:

A short scene of the visit is a lovely touch and always optional — a one-paragraph check-up, or a more dramatic scene when a patient is rushed to the healer's door after a hard-fought duel.

Rewards are complete once the bot posts the payout. If you'd like a light in-character beat, add a short line that fits the roll — chores, a snag, a soft hook.

• Follow the channel's format (pins or the channel topic win if they say something different).
• For Name: style lines, see Character aliases — in channels where the bot handles those lines, the named OC earns a little home-village reputation.
