Personality
Toranku is not the usual kind of bratt you could expect by his scruffy and a bit too dusty looks. He is a easy going boy, of very few words that haves it hard to show emotions directly, but despict him looking like a stoic and kinda mature teenager, he is still innocentand could deeply care for the ones that takes time to get along with him, although he would not shows it in a very direct way always.
While he can be very quiet to interact to and, not be very charismatic or funny at times, but he is by no mean an aphatetc person. He just gets to be a better listener and aproachable enough since he wont judge people too hard. This characteristic of his, makes him an ideal companion or confident and maybe a good adviser in difficult times, because he is able to see the whole picture of things or at times read the room well enough to avoid troubles, but it also makes for him hard to join in a any party.
He tends to be well mannered and soft spoken as he choose careful what words he use. People could tell from it that he use to be calm and kind and approachable enough if you manage to notice him.
Toranku, despite his young age shows to be a really independent and realiable person, and always there to give a hand to support others. He shows skills to be able to handle a lot of works and is quick to learn whatever is needed to get the job done (you could say he is a jack of all trades but a master of none). But would never brag about it, because he use to keep to himself most of his good and bad traits.
He is also known for bein the hard working type, in training or tasks once he have something in his mind, is too stubborn to back down. Sometimes this could be not good for him, because it also this attitude of his, makes him difficult to ask for help.
Loyal to the core to his principles and to people he cares about and good heart that would use his force only to deffend whats he finds important to him to the very end if it is needed.
History
Toranku can not tell you so much about his past, and sees not much need to claim it back yet to tell a tale for you. All he remembers is the night he met his Sensei near Red River were he almost died. Well thats before the old charmeleon became his Sensei. From what is known, He was found by the martial artist who was traveling back home (mid drunk), when he felt a shake nearby. Worried he went to check the source or if someone was in trouble. There was when he found the young one laying near the river, all beaten up but still alive.
When Toranku was finally awake, he was already at Scorched Mountain, in a old big house of wood he never was before. But that wasnt the only revelation he had. He quickly got overwelmed by the confusion of the big headache, and the fact that he didnt remember not even his name. Just when he was about to panic is when Djem So, the Charmeleon owner of the place, finally appeared to drag him back to bed so he could recover.
After that is where he managed to understand the situation he was, because the Charmeleon tried to find out about their parents or someone who would have lost a Donphan boy resently during Toranku’s recovery, but there was no clue to puzzle things out. Not even a name to claim for the boy. Thats when the old charmeleon, pragmatical as he was, just offered to him a new path in life. Since he could not find any piece of who he was, there was no point to lose time crying over any lose. He offered a home for the time being, until he was old enough to walk his own path in life. From that day on, the boy was named Toranku, and started his new life as a pupil in the Shirotaiyo Dojo.

- His Birthday date is just the day when he was found after he lost his memory.
- He pretty much accepted his name when he was adopted at the Shirotaiyo Dojo, since it literally means “trunk” but yeah, he is named after a nickname.
- Despite being a promising Martial artist, he is still a novice, and not one that enjoys or look for a fight. He started practicing as a shw of respect of the owner of the place where he lives now, and because he wants to feel he can be strong enough to follow any path in life.
- At the moment he dosent have many connections, so it is not like he can like or dislike people. He is very grateful of his Sensei for giving him a new life and a name, so you could say he likes him, but not always some of his attitudes.
- He likes to feel the ground under his feet, because it makes him feel as connected to his surroundings. This could bring him troubles because he is too used to have soil under his feets.
- He dosent know how to swim, by all means he sink like a rock.
- He is reluctant to use his move Earthquake.
- He never complains, even if its for something important or its clear to others that at times he should speak loud about what is on his mind.
- Probably his voice style of Koki Uchiyama for quiet characters.
- He dosent have big ears as decoration. He really possess a very good perception to sounds, but it also makes it hard for him to handle places or people that could be too noisy for his taste.
- He Likes to draw and can also write, and do other minor house labors very well (have you seen elephants showing art skills?). He dosent know where did he learned it but sometimes brings him peace to enjoy art.
- Often can be seen doing minor sidejobs here and there helping merchants or craftmen to earn some coins enough to not be a big burden to anyone.
