Personality
Cold, taciturn and almost robotic, Risuto is abrasive at best and volatile at worst. He never seems to smile, and will often refuse conversation with most people. And when he does decide he wants to speak to you, it's curt and probably a little condescending. People are not his forte, and it becomes quite evident within minutes of meeting him—he has no issue with verbally putting one in their place, nor cares how his words may affect others. Not to mention obstinate in some of the worst ways; very little can alter a decision of his once made.
Despite these short comings, Risuto is dedicated to the role he's been placed in—almost to the point of detriment. He's resilient and focused, putting great effort into everything he does. He's learned and eloquent, while being meticulous to a fault. Risuto is confident, proud, and perhaps even a little spoiled. And if you manage to scale those high walls, a resolute protector is on the other side—he will be your ride or die.
Risuto may not like conversation, but will listen intently to the concerns of the villagers and immediately take action. He doesn't ignore the words of his advisors, and navigates situations with tact and understanding. The villagers are most important to him, regardless how he may present himself. He's kind in his own way.
But when this precise control disappears, and all the emotions he separates from himself flood in? He's fragile, and easily susceptible to doubt. And that feeling of emptiness settles in—that something is missing, and his head is barely above water. Like he could drown at any moment.
Hollow and impossibly alone.
History
A first there was darkness. Empty yet comforting.
Then there was light. Sudden and inexplicable.
That's how Risuto came to be.
Alone and disoriented, and with this indescribable feeling like a piece of them was missing; as if one was part of a whole without a tether..
Risuto was found as a newborn in a forest clearing but a few clicks away from Noir Vale. They were taken in by who would eventually be known as the previous leader's vassals. It could've been happenstance, or maybe it was even ordained by the gods themselves—all that was known is that the newly created Mewtwo needed special consideration and care.
For the majority of his life he was kept a secret from the village. The previous leader's vassals could see his potential, and raised him to be the future leader of Noir Vale. They would teach him everything he'd need to know, and train him as the village's new protector.
And then the dream whispers started.
They started while young, but as he became more powerful and aged.. They only seemed to grow stronger and more pervasive. And no one had answers. Not the vassals, not the prayers that were sent the gods' way. Not even the extensive knowledge he'd learned from the previous leader's personal library. Just fables and stories. Myths.
The dream whispers eventually become like nightmares. Profound. Almost divine. He felt his grip on reality slipping.
And then suddenly there is silence—the dream whispers are no more. Peace finally returns to his mind.
Risuto continues to study underneath the tutelage of the previous leader's vassals until the day finally comes when he assumes the role of Leader of Noir Vale. He's young and inexperienced, but there's no question about his ability to lead. He's not the most personable, but the villagers all know that Noir Vale is in good hands. Things carry on easily for a short time.
Until the whispers begin again.
And this time they're not only in his dreams.

Voice Claim: TBD
- Risuto is a powerful psychic and telepath, and often experiences involuntary visions of possible futures.
- Part of the reason why he's so grumpy is because Risuto experiences invasive thoughts and emotions from those around him.
- He feels emotions deeply; so deeply that he has to shutter them in order to function.
- It's impossible to sneak up on him in most situations.
- Risuto has the ability to speak telepathically into the minds of others, and can even read minds to a certain extent.
- A lot of the older folk in the community love and adore him, and are always giving him food because they don't think he eats enough (they're right).
- As a child there were quite a few times he snuck out to explore the village or wander due to boredom. It was a fiasco every time it happened. Once he was entering his teen years, though, he stopped.
- Risuto will periodically enter the village and make his rounds to all the shops, businesses, and villagers to check on them. Most visits are painfully short, but he wants to make sure there are no problems that arise from nowhere. He is bad at socializing, so a lot of the time the interactions can be.. a little strange.

Question of the Day3
QOTD #11how does your character handle getting sick? Do they still go to work?
"Taken ill? I don't know the meaning of it." (Actual answer: Risuto is very bad about taking care of himself. He's very dedicated to his roll and will push himself when he doesn't need to—this includes working when he's sick. His attendants have to force him to rest when it gets especially bad.)
QOTD #9Forget friends. How many enemies do you have?
"I am told there were probably more than a few who would want me dead; however, that never came to pass. Perhaps I had them shaking in their geta. Otherwise, as far as I am aware, I have none currently."
QOTD #8Did your character ever have any childhood friends? Are they still friends today?
Friends? No. With my focus on training and learning I had no time for such things. (Actual answer: was kept a secret and not allowed to wander too far from the estate for fear he'd be kidnapped or hurt)
