Fugen

Fugen dares not to speak of her past, she wants nothing more than to be able to forget her past self, just as her loved ones had forsaken her.

But as much as she tries to forget, there are nights where Fugen dreams of the past: the days she spent training as a miko, the strain she put on herself as she strived to show her most utmost devotion. Her youth, blood and tears sacrificed so that one day her efforts would be recognized, a wish that could never come true.

A miko must protect her purity with her life, it is the essence of her powers. A miko who forsakes her purity can never claim a shrine, nor land as her own again.

Yet despite doing all that was expected of her, Fugen was deemed impure the moment she evolved. The facial markings on her face resembled that more of thunder than the gentle clouds expected of a Chimecho. It was obvious what it meant: an omen. She was banished without a second thought.

And after that..

All roads look the same to Fugen, villages, people alike. She can never claim another shrine nor land as her own.

She, an omen, is cursed to forever wander the lands, until the winds take her away.

Likes: Music, star gazing, folk tales
Dislikes: Talkative people, small talk, onions

• Would prefer that people not look at her directly if her veil isn't on/is up.
• Has no last name as she no longers belong to a family.
